The Yamaha YUS3 TA3 TransAcoustic™ Upright Piano combines the exceptional musical performance of the acclaimed YUS3 Professional Upright Piano with Yamaha’s advanced TA3 TransAcoustic™ technology. Handcrafted in Japan and finished in luxurious Polished Ebony, this 131cm upright piano offers the rich tonal depth, refined touch, and expressive character of a premium acoustic instrument together with the versatility of state-of-the-art digital innovation.
At the heart of the YUS3 is a premium acoustic piano featuring a solid spruce soundboard, spruce back posts, Röslau German music wire, Wurzen hammer felt, and Yamaha’s precision-engineered professional action. The larger 131cm cabinet produces exceptional projection, tonal warmth, and dynamic range, making the YUS3 a favourite among advanced pianists, teachers, recording studios, and conservatories.
The TA3 TransAcoustic™ system transforms the piano’s own soundboard into a speaker, allowing premium digital piano voices to resonate naturally through the instrument itself. This innovative technology lets you adjust the piano’s volume while preserving the authentic resonance and feel of an acoustic piano. When complete privacy is required, simply connect headphones and enjoy silent practice without disturbing family or neighbours.
The TA3 system includes the world-renowned Yamaha CFX Concert Grand and Bösendorfer Imperial piano voices, together with Bluetooth® Audio & MIDI, USB connectivity, built-in audio recording, Smart Pianist app compatibility, 20 rhythm patterns, and a metronome. Whether you’re practising, teaching, recording, or streaming music through the piano’s soundboard, the YUS3 TA3 offers an inspiring and immersive musical experience.
The Yamaha YUS3 TA3 TransAcoustic™ is the perfect choice for pianists who demand uncompromising acoustic performance with the flexibility of modern digital technology. Combining world-class Japanese craftsmanship, grand piano-inspired tone, and innovative TransAcoustic™ functionality, it delivers an exceptional playing experience for every stage of your musical journey.
